...CRITICAL TO EXTREME FIRE CONDITIONS EXPECTED MONDAY...



.Warm and dry conditions the past few days have dried fuels ahead

of a strong system expected to move through the area on Monday,

bringing with it strong winds. Strong southwest winds gusting to 

60 mph combined with minimum relative humidities in the single 

digits will lead to extremely critical fire weather conditions 

late Monday morning into the evening.

* EXPERIMENTAL RFTI...6-8 Critical to Extreme in New Mexico. 7- 

  8 Critical to Extreme in Far West Texas



* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
