Amounts across the region were generally 3 to 5 inches along the Highway 29 corridor, with some reports closer to 6 inches in a few spots of Shawano and the Fox Valley. Lesser amounts were found north and south of this region. Going forward, light snow is possible at times through the afternoon but additional snowfall amounts are expected to be generally less than an inch. High temperatures in the afternoon will be in the lower to middle 30s, which will help melt any snow still on road surfaces. Tonight, a few light snow showers will continue across far northeast WI, but the rest of the region should be predominantly dry. Low temperatures tonight will be fairly cold, with single digits across much of the northwoods and teens near the Fox Valley and lakeshore. Another significant system will bring snow and rain to the area Sunday into Monday. There is still a lot of uncertainty in snowfall amounts with this system. $$ Uhlmann
