Widespread temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s as of 3am will allow for the Freeze Warning over Iowa to remain, though is expected to drop off by 8am as temperatures warm. Winds this morning were largely out of the west/northwest and generally light, along with clear skies across the state. Following the chilly morning conditions, temperatures are expected to warm nicely as highs reach into the upper 50s to low 60s today under plenty of sunshine. Winds are expected to be breezy today with northwest winds gusting up to 20 mph, before turning light and shifting southwesterly late. Tonight and beyond: Skies are expected to remain clear tonight into Monday, with lows falling largely in the mid to upper 30s, though a few sites could see values in low 30s. Isolated frost is possible as a result, especially northeast. The initial start to the work week looks quiet, though increasing clouds into Monday afternoon will precede returning chances for occasional showers and possibly a few non-severe storms for the rest of the day and possibly through much of Tuesday. Winds early week are expected to be quite gusty as well, with gusts up to 35-40 mph from the southwest, before turning back more northwesterly and remaining rather breezy. A return to dry weather comes Wednesday, then additional chances for rain are expected into the late work week, which looks to also come with the potential for severe weather at times. Warming temperatures are expected through the work week, with temperatures largely in the 60s to low 70s. $$ ####018000721#### AWUS81 KCTP 210851 RWSCTP PAZ004>006-010>012-017>019-024>028-033>037-041-042-045-046- 049>053-056>059-063>066-212300- Regional Weather Summary National Weather Service State College PA 451 AM EDT Sun Apr 21 2024 A mostly cloudy morning will give way to a mostly sunny afternoon for most of Pennsylvania today.
