Gusty westerly winds with near normal temperatures will mostly

dominate across North Central, Central, and Southwest Montana for

most of today, but a Canadian cold front will move through the

area tonight, bringing cooler and more unsettled conditions.

Widespread precipitation should change over to snow at most

elevations after midnight, resulting in at least minor

accumulations. However, mountain areas will receive more

significant snowfall through the day on Wednesday. Cold

temperatures will linger through Thursday and Friday as snow 

chances will decrease. A drying and warming trend is then expected

for the weekend into early next week.
