.SYNOPSIS...The breakdown of the ridge has begun, which has

kicked off some convective showers that could produce some lightning

strikes as the atmosphere destabilizes throughout the day. Snow

levels will remain high today into Thursday, with the cold front

stalling for a period before moving east on Thursday. Winds will

switch from the south-southwest to north-northeast as it does so,

bringing snow levels back down to roughly 2000-4000 feet by late

Thursday.
