...Widespread heavy rain and gusty winds associated with the core

of Hurricane Idalia continues to moves inland from northern

Florida to southern Georgia...



Flash Flood Warnings are in effect for parts of northern Florida

and south-central Georgia.



Flood Watches, Advisories, and Warnings extend from the

west-central Florida Peninsula to eastern North Carolina.

At 1000 AM EDT...Widespread heavy rain was occurring across much

of central/southern Georgia and the Lowcountry of South Carolina,

while bands of thunderstorms extend southward to the central

Florida Peninsula. Strong winds were also occurring near the

center of Hurricane Idalia as it nears south-central Georgia. For
