in Oregon and Washington.



Flood Watches are in effect across portions of the Pacific

Northwest.

At 600 AM PST...Regional radar observed widespread moderate to

locally heavy rainfall streaming onshore across the Pacific

Northwest ahead of an approaching offshore cold front. A few gusty

winds upwards of 30 mph were also observed across portions of the

terrain in western Washington and western Oregon.

The ongoing atmospheric river is expected to persist through

tomorrow as the Pacific cold front slowly presses inland. An

additional 2-5" of rainfall will maintain an excessive rainfall

threat through tomorrow morning along the Oregon coastline, and

along the Cascades given the degree of saturated soils in the
