The long, occluded front wrapped around the low from the central to northern Plains and into the Upper Midwest, under the base of a deep upper-level low aloft. National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated that a broad area of light to moderate wintry precipitation remains in the vicinity of the wrapping occluded front and surface low, mainly in the form of snow showers across portions of Nebraska and Missouri. A rain/snow mix was occurring where warmer air resided over portions of southern Missouri.
