This will result in locally catastrophic flash and urban flooding impacts across Los Angeles. The impacts do not stop there, however. Damaging winds and high surf are also expected across Southern California tonight, likely leading to power outages and downed trees. In the mountains, heavy wet snow will continue across the Sierra Nevada through Monday. 2-3"/hour snowfall rates combined with wind gusts will lead to whiteout conditions and near impossible travel above 5000 feet.
