Additional snowfall accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are expected across portions of central and northern New York into the lower elevations of northern New England while mountainous locations could receive up to another foot of snow through Saturday. The combination of wet snow, a high snow load, and gusty winds could cause some tree damage and power outages. The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction Center at 1100 AM EDT.
