Regardless, storm total snowfall amounts are still forecast to be as much as 2 to 4 feet before the snow tapers off. Very cold temperatures will remain in place through the remainder of the holiday weekend, with temperatures on Christmas Day still forecast to be as much as 15 to 25 degrees below average across the eastern U.S. The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction Center at 900 AM CST.
