DENISON 9.9 ESE 3.94 GORDONVILLE 3.6 NNE 3.14 POTTSBORO 0.8 NW 3.06 DALLAS 1.60 The very strong low pressure system, which is responsible for breaking several long-standing low pressure records over the Ohio Valley on Friday, is forecast to continue pushing northeastward until a secondary low forms off the southern New England coastline early Saturday. As it does so, heavy snow should come to an end across much of the Great Lakes region Saturday morning. Meanwhile, heavy snow is expected to further overspread and impact New England to start the weekend. Total snowfall amounts over a foot are possible throughout interior sections of the Northeast and New England. The strong system will also be accompanied by strong winds, which could be damaging and lead to coastal flood concerns throughout the Northeast over the next day or so. The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction Center at 1000 AM EST. Please refer to your local National Weather Service office for additional information on this event. Snell $$
