A few tornadoes likely Widespread large hail and isolated very large hail events to 3 inches in diameter likely Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...Strong/severe thunderstorms will develop across/spread into Missouri and northwestern Arkansas over the next one to two hours, expanding eastward across Illinois with time. Along with potential for tornadoes, very large hail is expected. Locally damaging winds will also be possible, particularly as storms become more clustered later this afternoon and this evening.
