* Special Marine Warning for...

  Atchafalaya and East Cote Blanche Bays...

  Coastal waters from Intracoastal City to Cameron LA out 20 NM...

  Coastal waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA

  out 20 NM...

  Vermilion and West Cote Blanche Bays...

  Waters from Intracoastal City to Cameron LA from 20 to 60 NM...

  Waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA from 20

  to 60 NM...



* Until 1000 AM CDT.



* At 859 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing

  waterspouts were located along a line extending from Vermilion Bay

  to 7 nm northwest of Vermilion 215, moving east at 25 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and small 

           hail.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 

           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
