  James River from Jamestown to the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel...



* Until 115 AM EDT.



* At 1122 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Burwell Bay,

  moving northwest at 35 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Hampton River Inlet, James River Bridge, Hampton Flats, Monitor

  Merrimack Bridge Tunnel, Willoughby Bay, Sewells Point, Burwell

  Bay, Dominion Pier, and Cobham Bay.
