* Special Marine Warning for...

  Chesapeake Bay from North Beach to Drum Point MD...

  Chesapeake Bay from Sandy Point to North Beach MD...

  Choptank River to Cambridge MD and the Little Choptank River...



* Until 515 PM EDT.



* At 342 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near National

  Harbor, moving east at 30 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail.



  SOURCE...This storm has a history of producting quarter to half-

           dollar sized hail.



  IMPACT...Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by 

           suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel. 

           Hail may damage your vessel.



* Locations impacted include...

  Choptank River, Knapps Narrows Bridge, Herring Bay, Tilghman

  Island, Blackwalnut Point, North Beach, and Chesapeake Beach.
