* Special Marine Warning for...

  Coastal waters from High Island to Freeport TX out 20 NM...

  Waters from Freeport to Matagorda Ship Channel TX from 20 to 60

  NM...

  Waters from High Island to Freeport TX from 20 to 60 NM...



* Until 915 AM CDT.



* At 809 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing wind 

  gusts of 34 knots or greater and waterspouts were located along a 

  line extending from near High Island 199 to near Brazos A4, moving 

  southeast at 25 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 

           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
