* Special Marine Warning for...

  Point Piedras Blancas to Point Sal from 10 to 60 NM...

  Point Piedras Blancas to Point Sal westward out to 10 NM...

  Waters from Pt. Sal to Santa Cruz Island CA and westward 60 nm

  including San Miguel and Santa Rosa Islands...



* Until 815 AM PDT.



* At 748 AM PDT, a shower capable of producing waterspouts was

  located 12 nm west of Point Sal, or 23 nm southwest of Pismo Beach,

  moving northeast at 20 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small 

           hail.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can create locally hazardous seas. Small 

           craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Point Sal.
