* Special Marine Warning for...

  Coastal waters from High Island to Freeport TX out 20 NM...

  Galveston Bay...



* Until 845 AM CDT.



* At 740 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over northern 

  Galveston Bay, moving south at 20 knots. This storm is about to 

  merge with another storm to the south, likely producing strong, 

  gusty winds across Galveston Bay.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.

  East Galveston Bay, Galveston Ship Channel, Upper San Jacinto Bay,

  Scott Bay, Galveston Bay Entrance, Galveston Bay, Tabbs Bay, Burnet

  Bay, Offatts Bayou, North Jetty, Galveston Pier 21, Trinity Bay,

  Smith Point, Galveston Causeway, Rollover Pass, Mitchell Bay, Black

  Duck Bay, Crystal Bay, The Texas City Dike, and Eagle Point.
