  Chesapeake Bay from Pooles Island to Sandy Point MD...

  Chesapeake Bay from Sandy Point to North Beach MD...

  Chester River to Queenstown MD...

  Choptank River to Cambridge MD and the Little Choptank River...

  Eastern Bay...



* Until 400 PM EDT.



* At 301 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from 7 nm west of Annapolis to 9 nm southwest of

  Chesapeake Beach, moving northeast at 45 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by 

           suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel.



* Locations impacted include...

  Chester River, Eastern Bay, Blackwalnut Point, Greenbury Point,

  Highland Beach, Sandy Point State Park, Severn River, Bloody Point

  Light, Thomas Point Light, Poplar Island, Parsons Island,

  Pinehurst, Knapps Narrows Bridge, Tilghman Island, Gibson Island,

  Bodkin Point, Tolchester Beach, Love Point, Baltimore Light, and

  Romancoke.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for southern

Maryland...and the adjacent coastal waters.



Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

* At 302 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Palm Coast,

  moving east at 35 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Beverly Beach, Big Georges Reef, and Palm Coast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM EDT for northeastern

Florida...and the adjacent coastal waters.



Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are

expected. If your vessel is caught offshore, immediately secure for

heavy weather. Ensure all crew members are wearing USCG approved Type

I life jackets and nonessential crew are below decks. Deploy jack

lines and harnesses if available. Check life saving equipment,

including batteries on handheld radios, for readiness.
