...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN PENDER...NORTHERN

BRUNSWICK AND EAST CENTRAL COLUMBUS COUNTIES THROUGH 845 AM EDT...



At 807 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Lake Waccamaw, or 14 miles southeast of Whiteville, moving east at 40

mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Bethel, Lake Waccamaw, Northwest, Sandyfield, Bishop, Honey Island,

Nakina, Old Dock, Mollie, Batarora, Freeman, Delco, Riegelwood,

Crusoe Island, Bolton, and Sandy Creek.



This includes US Route 17 in Brunswick County between mile markers 39

and 41.
