...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of Kent, northeastern

Ottawa, Ionia, southeastern Muskegon and southeastern Montcalm

Counties through 800 PM EDT...



At 657 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6

miles south of Rockford, or 8 miles northeast of Grand Rapids, moving

east at 25 mph.



HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.
