...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN SAN SABA COUNTY THROUGH

715 AM CDT...



At 643 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Spring Creek, or near Algerita, moving east at 20 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

San Saba, Richland Springs, Algerita, Skeeterville, Sloan, Hall,

Harkeyville, Locker, Spring Creek, and Us-190 Near The San Saba-

Lampasas County Line.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to

localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.
