...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN BLADEN COUNTY

THROUGH 515 PM EDT...



At 440 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Ammon, or 8 miles north of Elizabethtown, moving east at 35 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Bladen

County, including the following locations... White Lake.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for

southeastern North Carolina.
