SOUTHEASTERN FURNAS AND SOUTHERN HARLAN COUNTIES THROUGH 1030 PM

CDT...



At 1004 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Almena, or 8 miles east of Norton, moving northeast at 50 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



This strong thunderstorm will be near...

  Long Island around 1015 PM CDT.
