* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Southern Cocke County in east Tennessee...

  East central Sevier County in east Tennessee...



* Until 700 PM EDT.



* At 614 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles northwest

  of Smoky Mountains-Big Creek, or 11 miles south of Newport, moving

  northeast at 30 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 

           to roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  Smoky Mountains-Balsam Mountain, Pittman Center, Del Rio, Round

  Mountain, Cosby, Hartford, and Waterville.



This includes Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 438 and

451.
