  Southeastern Whitfield County in northwestern Georgia...

  Northern Gordon County in northwestern Georgia...



* Until 215 AM EDT.



* At 143 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Tilton, or 9

  miles southeast of Dalton, moving east at 35 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 

           to roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  Dalton, Calhoun, Resaca, Carters, Ramhurst, Sugar Valley, Oakman,

  Tilton, Nickelsville, North Georgia Speedway, and Audubon.
