FOR PORTIONS OF BEAUFORT...CHARLESTON AND COLLETON COUNTIES...



At 239 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bennetts Point,

moving east at 40 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind 

         damage to trees and powerlines.



This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of

Beaufort, Charleston and Colleton Counties, including the following

locations... Edisto Beach State Park.
