COUNTIES...



At 542 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Carolina

Sandhills Wildlife Refuge, or 22 miles northwest of Hartsville,

moving east at 40 mph.



HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 

         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind 

         damage to trees and powerlines.

Cheraw, Pageland, Kershaw, Chesterfield, Cheraw State Park,

Northeastern Technical College, Carolina Sandhills Wildlife Refuge,

Mt Pisgah, Cheraw Municipal Airport, Mcbee, Jefferson, Ruby, Patrick,

Bethune, Chesterfield Ruby Middle School, Cheraw Fish Hatchery,

Middendorf, Central High School, High Point Fire Station, and

Alligator Fire Station.
