SITUATION At 1800 UTC a Tropical Low was centred within 30 nautical miles of latitude twelve decimal five south (12.5S) longitude one hundred and nineteen decimal four east (119.4E) Recent movement : south at 3 knots Maximum winds : 35 knots Central pressure: 999 hPa The low is expected to develop into a tropical cyclone in the next 12 to 24 hours. AREA AFFECTED Within 40 nautical miles in NE quadrant and within 60 nautical miles in SE quadrant and within 50 nautical miles in SW quadrant and within 40 nautical miles in NW quadrant FORECAST Maximum winds to 35 knots near the centre increasing to 45 knots by 0600 UTC 06 April and to 55 knots by 1800 UTC 06 April. From 1200 UTC 06 April winds above 48 knots within 30 nautical miles of centre in the SE and SW quadrants with very rough seas and moderate swell. Winds above 34 knots within 60 nautical miles in SE quadrant and within 50 nautical miles in SW quadrant by 0000 UTC 06 April and within 40 nautical miles in the NE quadrant by 0600 UTC 06 April and within 40 nautical miles in the NW quadrant by 1200 UTC 06 April with rough seas and moderate swell.
