SITUATION

At 0600 UTC a Tropical Low was centred within 15 nautical miles of

 latitude twelve decimal four south (12.4S)

 longitude ninety seven decimal one east (97.1E)

Recent movement : east at 6 knots

Maximum winds   : 35 knots

Central pressure: 1000 hPa



AREA AFFECTED

Within 120 nautical miles north of the centre.



FORECAST

Maximum winds to 35 knots near the centre increasing to 40 knots by 1800 UTC 10

March.



Winds above 34 knots within 120 nautical miles in NW and NE quadrants with

rough seas and moderate swell.
