The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a



* Tornado Warning for...

  Southeastern Van Buren County in southeastern Iowa...

  Scotland County in northeastern Missouri...

  Northwestern Clark County in northeastern Missouri...



* Until 430 PM CDT.



* At 338 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado

  was located near Memphis, moving northeast at 45 mph.



  HAZARD...Tornado.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.



  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 

           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 

           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 

           damage is likely.



* This dangerous storm will be near...

  Granger, Arbela, Prospect Grove, Azen, Etna, and Brock around 345 

  PM CDT.

  Cantril, Mount Sterling, and Heath Memorial Conservation Area 

  around 350 PM CDT.

  Lake Sugema Campground around 355 PM CDT.



Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include

Keosauqua, Bonaparte, Lacey Keosauqua State Park, Bentonsport/Vernon,

Farmington, Keosauqua Airport, Indian Lake Park, Anson and Van Buren

County Fairgrounds.
