The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a



* Tornado Warning for...

  North central Wakulla County in Big Bend Florida...

  South central Gadsden County in Big Bend Florida...

  East central Liberty County in Big Bend Florida...

  Southwestern Leon County in Big Bend Florida...



* Until 715 AM EDT.



* At 644 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado

  was located 12 miles southwest of Midway, moving southeast at 60

  mph.



  HAZARD...Tornado.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.



  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 

           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 

           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 

           damage is likely.



* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of

  north central Wakulla, south central Gadsden, east central Liberty

  and southwestern Leon Counties, including the following

  locations... Lake Bradford, Lake Talquin, Leon Sinks, Gaither

  Community Center, Lake Munson, Hilliardville, Eight Mile Pond, Fort

  Braden, Silver Lake Rec Area, and Wetumpka.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest

floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a

mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter

and protect yourself from flying debris.



To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.

They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in

Tallahassee.
