The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a



* Tornado Warning for...

  Perry County in south central Illinois...



* Until 300 AM CDT.



* At 221 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado

  was located near Sparta, moving east at 45 mph.



  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.



  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 

           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 

           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 

           damage is likely.



* This dangerous storm will be near...

  Pinckneyville around 235 AM CDT.

  Tamaroa around 245 AM CDT.



Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Cutler

and St. Johns.
