The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a



* Tornado Warning for...

  Northeastern Davidson County in Middle Tennessee...

  Southwestern Sumner County in Middle Tennessee...

  Southeastern Robertson County in Middle Tennessee...



* Until 600 PM CDT.



* At 522 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado

  was located near Greenbrier, or 7 miles south of Springfield,

  moving east at 30 mph.



  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.



  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 

           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 

           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 

           damage is likely.



* Locations impacted include...

  Springfield, Hendersonville, Goodlettsville, White House,

  Millersville, Greenbrier, Coopertown, and Ridgetop.



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 65 between mile markers 95 and 107.

 Interstate 24 between mile markers 34 and 37.
