The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a



* Tornado Warning for...

  North central Platte County in northeastern Nebraska...



* Until 100 PM CDT.



* At 1228 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a

  tornado was located 3 miles southeast of Humphrey, or 15 miles

  north of Columbus, moving north at 15 mph.



  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Weather spotters reported funnel cloud.



  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 

           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 

           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 

           damage is likely.



* This dangerous storm will be near...

  Between Creston and Humphrey around 1235 PM CDT.
