For the central North Pacific, between 140W and 180W:



There was one short-lived tropical cyclone in the Central Pacific 

Hurricane Center (CPHC) area of responsibility during the month of 

September. Tropical Depression Twelve-E crossed 140W into the 

central North Pacific on September 16 and quickly become a 

post-tropical remnant low later that day.
