...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS EXPIRED FOR THE KUSKOKWIM DELTA 

COAST..



Warming temperatures and diminishing winds are being observed 

over the interior Kuskokwim Delta. Thus, the threat for snow and 

blowing snow is gradually coming to an end from east to west. 

Temperatures will remain cooler along coastal regions but these 

too should see a gradual improvement in visibility as winds 

diminish.

THURSDAY...



* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow 

  accumulations of 6 to 12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 

  mph. Visibility reduced to as low as one half mile at times.



* WHERE...Eastern Aleutians.



* WHEN...Through 11 AM AKDT Thursday.



* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing 

  snow could significantly reduce visibility.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The combination of heavier snow and gusty 

  winds could significantly reduce visibility at times. Show 

  showers are expected to taper off Thursday morning.
