STORM FORCE WIND WARNING FOR WESTERN AND SOUTHERN AREAS

SITUATION AT 0600UTC
Vigorous northwesterly flow developing associated with a forecast low 987hPa
near 44S080E at 151200UTC, low 980hPa near 47S084E at 151800UTC, low 974hPa
near 50S089E at 160000UTC and low 972hPa near 53S095E at 160600UTC.

AREA AFFECTED
Bounded by 45S080E 42S082E 41S087E 50S103E 52S103E 54S092E 45S080E.

FORECAST
Clockwise winds 34/45 knots developing within 360nm of low in the northern
semicircle by 151500UTC. Winds increasing to 45/55 knots within 120nm of low in
the northern quadrant by 151800UTC. Very rough to high seas, rising to very
high with storm force winds. Moderate to heavy swell.
