KBYX radar has been placed back into Standby mode. The radar may be brought into
 operational mode again later today if significant convection develops or approa
ches the area. However, we are still awaiting replacement parts to address the p
revious radar failure, so there is no guarantee on how long the radar may be abl
e to operate later today.
