High pressure around 30.0 inches centered over the Lake Superior region will gradually shift south through Wisconsin tonight and Friday. Light northerly winds tonight will become light and variable on Friday. Light to modest south to southwest winds will then develop for Friday night into Saturday ahead of an approaching cold front from Canada. The cold front will pass north to south across the lake from Saturday afternoon into the evening. Modest to breezy northerly winds will take hold after the frontal passage and last into early next week.
