.Synopsis...A surface ridge about 350 nm N of Kauai will weaken,
and move down near the N edge of the offshore waters Thursday and
Friday. A surface trough will develop just NW of the area
Saturday as a surface high pressure system strengthens far NE of
the islands.

.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters... Moderate to fresh trade
winds will ease to gentle to moderate  speeds Wednesday as the
surface ridge to the north of the islands weakens. The winds may
shift out of the east-southeast this  weekend.  $$
