...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER ST THOMAS SURROUNDING WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Atlantic Waters of Puerto Rico AND USVI from 10 NM to 19.5N...
  Coastal Waters east of Puerto Rico, around Vieques, and around and 
  just north of Culebra and Saint John...
  Coastal Waters from Cabo San Juan to the waters between Anegada 
  Island and Virgin Gorda and North 10 NM...

At 437 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, 
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was 
located north of St Thomas, moving north at 15 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
