  Fire Island Inlet to Montauk Point NY out 40 NM...
  Eastern Long Island Sound...
  Peconic and Gardiners Bays...
  Long Island South Shore Bays...

At 911 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable 
of producing winds to around 30 knots, small hail, and lightning. 
These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 12 nm 
northwest of Essex Village to near Moriches Bay to 16 nm east of 
Buoy 44025, moving east at 45 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
