...OUTFLOW BOUNDARY MOVING NORTH TOWARDS THE DISTANT SOUTHWESTERN
STRAITS OF FLORIDA...

At 635 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected an
outflow boundary associated with a line of strong thunderstorms
moving off the north coast of Cuba. This line was located about 20 
nm north of Havana, Cuba and moving north at near 15 knots. This line
is expected to enter the distant southwestern Straits of Florida
within the next one to two hours. Mariners should prepare for 
thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally rough and 
confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and potentially blinding
downpours.
