...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...

Nearshore waters from Washington Island to Sheboygan...
Open waters of Lake Michigan from Rock Island Passage to Sheboygan...

At 800 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 10 nm
northeast of Bay Shore Park to 18 nm west of Manitowoc, moving east
at 20 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Kewaunee Pierhead Light, Manitowoc, Rawley Point Light, Algoma, and
Two Rivers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek
safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
