A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...

  Nearshore Waters from Winthrop Harbor to Northerly Island...
  Open Waters from Winthrop Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid
Lake...

At 154 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of isolated 
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These 
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 nm south of 
Waukegan Harbor to 6 nm northwest of Midway Airport, moving 
northeast at 20 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Harrison-Dever Crib, Wilmette Harbor, Montrose Harbor, Monroe Harbor,
Waukegan Harbor, Belmont Harbor, Diversy Harbor, and DuSable Harbor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher 
waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek 
safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
