  Lake Superior from Grand Marais MI to Whitefish Point MI 5NM off 
  shore to the US/Canadian border...

At 138 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 23 nm southeast of The Eastern
Lake Superior Buoy to 7 nm east of Muskallonge State Park, moving
east at 45 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher 
waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek 
safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
