Isolated showers have developed along the North Shore of Suffolk
County along the area where the sea breeze off Long Island Sound
has developed. Additional showers and thunderstorms may pop up in
this area over the next hour or two through 2 PM. Brief
downpours, gusty and erratic winds to 40 mph and lightning will
all be hazards for travelers as well as those outdoors on land
and on the water.
