Through midnight, patches of light to moderate rain will continue to streak to the northeast to east through the coastal waters of the Florida Keys. The Straits of Florida feature more showers than light rain, and some of these showers will occasionally pulse into thunderstorms. The strongest storms will be capable of wind gusts up to 30 knots, periods of poor visibility within pockets of heavy rain, and a lightning strike or two. Island communities can expect a few slick roadways, although very little, if any, rainfall accumulation. $$ CLR
